Possible Decade Long Break For 30 Seconds To Mars

In a recent interview, drummer Shannon Leto and his brother and front-man for the band, Jarod Leto mentioned a possible ten year break for their band 30 Seconds To Mars. I wouldn't be terribly upset if this did happen. Personally I think Jarod Leto should spend more time making movies than music.

Several outlets are reporting today 30 Seconds To Mars will be splitting, or going on hiatus.

The news follows a suggestion from frontman Jared Leto that the might not be another album to follow their last record "This Is War".

In an interview with MTV Canada, which you can see below, the band were pressed on the rumours. "We've been touring a long time man", said drummer Shannon Leto. "I mean, look at us. We're broken down, sugar. We're tired."

When asked if they will be stepping back from the music scene, Shannon replied "We'll probably just take a break for, I don't know, 10 years."
