Police are searching for a man who was seen wearing a KKK hood in a Dillon City Market on Thursday (May 14) afternoon.

According to 9News, employees asked the man to leave the store, but he refused.

Video footage given to the station shows the man arguing with other customers in the store, seemingly shrugging off the confrontation.

Someone reported the man to the Dillon Police for trespassing, but by the time officers arrived, he was gone.

City Market released a statement about the incident, noting that their employees and customers are expected to "embrace diversity and inclusion and to show respect..."

Officers are hoping to find the man's vehicle and identify him by using surveillance footage from the store.
