Peyton Manning Is Coming To Fort Collins

Peyton Manning is coming to Fort Collins to honor the best high school athletes in Northern Colorado.

Manning joins the Coloradoan as their keynote speaker at a banquet for the publication's new Northern Colorado Sports Awards program, which will recognize local high school athletes each week and at the end of the season.

The Northern Colorado Sports Awards banquet will be held on May 17, 2016, and is open to the public. Honored students will receive free entry, and ticket information will be shared by the Coloradoan at a later date.

The Northern Colorado Sports Awards program kicked off this week and will recognize more than 450 high school students from all over Northern Colorado through the 2015-16 season. Nominations will be accepted throughout the program for students who "take their great attitudes beyond the field of play by helping others or showing school spirit." Northern Colorado's best coaches will also be recognized and fans can participate in voting for their favorite band or school spirit traditions.
