Talk about a waste?

Whisky drinkers had a bad week after a whisky distillery in Dumbarton, Scottland had a massive loss due to some employees accidentally flushing away thousands of gallons of whisky down the drain instead of the intended waste water.

The accident happened Tuesday at the Chivas Brothers distillery where multiple brands of whiskey are produced. The company employs 600 workers and although a spokesman isn't giving away much info on the accident it was roughly less than 5,000 gallons that was flushed into a nearby waste water plant and thankfully not into any waterways.

Apparently the incident happened during the night when the night crew was cleaning their distilling equipment and the whisky was mistaken for waste water.

The spokesman stated that all proper authorities and Scottish water has been notified and the company itself is doing their own investigation on the incident to make sure history doesn't repeat itself.
