Northern Colorado May Get As Much as Two Feet of Snow Tonight
The most recent snow forecast has us shaking in our snow boots.
After a relatively warm weekend, the National Weather Service surprised us all by announcing at least a foot of snow in the Front Range tonight moving into tomorrow, and police are warning everyone to stay home and safe tonight.
In a recent alert, the National Weather Service reported "The worst conditions will be Tuesday morning, when very heavy snow is likely around Denver and winds will be increasing on the plains [...] Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 14 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph."
Fort Collins Police Services also warned residents to get all of their shopping done earlier in the day, so as to avoid any dangerous travel conditions:
Stay safe out there, NoCo, and make sure you're keeping up with the app for all of your weather updates.
