Free Cone Day is on the horizon, courtesy of your local Ben & Jerry's storefront. According to B&J, the company celebrates the holiday because "Every time you enjoy a scoop of Ben & Jerry's, you're showing us how much you care. We love you, too, and Free Cone Day is our favorite way to show it!"

When is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's in 2024?

Free Cone Day 2024 is Tuesday, April 16. Scoops are available from noon to eight p.m. that day at any Ben & Jerry's storefront. Alas, pints aren't available.

Ben & Jerry's began Free Cone Day in 1979 as a thank you to their fans who supported them during the company's first year of opening in Burlington, VT. The first city location to celebrate Free Cone Day outside of Burlington was Saratoga Springs, NY.
