Non-Toy Toys that Babies Love -Motherhood Without Warning [Pics]

My Mom has always said "you were happiest when I just gave you some pots and pans and bowls to play with". I would then wonder why she didn't just give me normal toys like other babies played with. Now I get it. I got bored with the regular toys and giving me things I didn't normally get to play with, kept me entertained.

My 8 month old twin boys are burning through all their toys. They play and play and play and then move onto the next thing. I'm running out of next things. So we are now onto boxes, water bottles, non-sharp kitchen things, clean shoes, straps of any kind and whatever I can think of. It's just amazing how the complex and colorful VTech toys no longer capture their attention yet, my neon colored water bottle does. Well, at least for the next 3.4 minutes. It's exhausting to try and keep them entertained. Suggestions welcomed!
