In good company around Colorado, I'm sure, but I'm a massive Christmas fan. Some might even call me a fanatic. I could probably live in Whoville I love it so much. My wife though, the Grinch, wouldn't be down.

As a kid, we loved Christmas so much that my dad took my brother and I on a road trip to a place in Colorado where we could celebrate Christmas in the summertime. Ya know, without all of the nasty cold weather that it brings.

North Pole Amusement Park In Colorado

Close to the bottom of Pikes Peak, Santa's Workshop, also known as the North Pole,  has been a place where families can truly get in the Christmas spirit, even when it's not actually Christmas time.

Opening in the summer of 1956 with nearly 30 rides and attractions, this historic Colorado amusement park is something that you must see and experience it for yourself. Plus, there truly isn't a better place to see jolly old St. Nick.

When Does The North Pole Theme Park Open In Colorado?

The 2024 season at the North Pole, home of Santa's Work Shop is set to kick off this Saturday, May 18th, and will run through Christmas Eve. General Admission into the park is free through November 1st, with rise wristbands available for $32 to enjoy all of the classic rides and attractions.

Everyone must purchase a ride wristband to enter the park during their holiday season for $32 from November 2nd through December 24th. The North Pole is open weekly Thursday through Monday from 10 am to 5 pm.  The park is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays again this season.
