NFL Team Hires First Full-Time Female Assistant Coach

As a recent home buyer I shutter at any kind of ceiling shattering but in the case of Kathryn Smith I applaud her shattering the glass ceiling.

Kathryn has been hired by the Buffalo Bills as the first full-time female assistant coach in NFL History.  Who is Kathyrn?  She was Rex Ryan’s administrative assistant during the 2015 season, and now will take over as the team’s special teams quality control coach.

If you remember the Arizona Cardinals made history just before the 2015 season after hiring Jen Welter as an assistant coaching intern for preseason.
