The City of Greeley Culture, Parks, and Recreation Department has installed new playground equipment at Westmoor Park at 601 38th Avenue.

The playground borrows the theme of space exploration from the old playground that was built in 1995. It features the longest zip line in the Greeley parks system. A space shuttle is the centerpiece of the new playground.

The new Westmoor Park playground is ADA compliant. It utilizes a combination of rubber surfacing and engineered wood fiber.

The playground is complete, but there is still work to be done at the park. Construction of a new shelter and restroom will be completed by the end of this year. The new restroom will open for public use in the spring of 2017.
