My daughter got to see her first ever concert on Saturday at Jr. Jam. I know you can't force your kids to like things, but I sure hope she loves music as much as I do. She's had music playing around here since she was in the womb, loud music still calms her down at 4-months, and her favorite thing in the world is making noises the the Garage Band app on our iPad.

So, I can only assume she'll be at many a concerts in her life, but this was her first milestone!
We saddled her up and went down to Boardwalk Park in Windsor where Junior Jam was taking place. I had worked earlier in the day and seen bands like The Lincoln Jam Band, Paul Wozniak w/ RadVentures, Brother’s and Sisters, Shockwave, Manny Luna, Angela Georgette, Common Anomaly, and Bladeyarder that had all been slated to play the event, but I figured keeping an infant out in the sun on a 90+ degree day probably wasn't the best idea.
But I did get her to the park in time to see Post Paradise...and I think she loved it.
Honestly they are one of my favorite local bands, so I'm glad she seemed so happy. The first time I heard Post Paradise was at Road 34 when we were expecting to see a Cupcake Cabaret performance, but instead saw White Cat Pink and Post Paradise, and the rest was history.
There's always room in my music collection for cello rock. And Post Paradise will go down as the fist live entertainment my daughter ever saw. Awww...
