Mountain Lions Roam Empty Boulder Streets During Snowstorm
The mountain lions are returning to Pearl Street Mall. Nature is healing. We are the virus.
OK, they weren't quite on Pearl Street, but they were close. The video below, shared by @bouldercolorado, originally taken by Jack Sasson and Amy Kern in the area of Alpine Ave. and 19th St., shows two mountain lions strolling the neighborhood, where people would normally be around.
Streets were empty on Thursday, not only because of Colorado's Stay-at-Home Orders, but because of several inches of spring snow (so much, it actually broke a 100-year-old record in Boulder).
