According to Loveland Reporter-Herald, Lovelanders should maybe be on the lookout for mountain lions that have made their way out of the mountains.

Although it is still considered rare to encounter one in town, on Tuesday just after 10 a.m., a Loveland resident said he saw a mountain lion in the Centennial Park area, which is fairly close to Downtown Loveland, west of HWY 287 and south of Eisenhower (US-34).

Loveland has had other mountain lion sightings recently, and one was also spotted in a suburban neighborhood in Lakewood, outside of Denver this summer.

KDVR reported that lion was seen around 9 p.m., which can cause concern because, just as in Loveland, that's a time when people are likely to be outside.
