About Midland

Based out of Dripping Springs, TX, the trio of songwriters who reportedly developed their sound at the famous Sonic Ranch has been building a following that’s sold out some of the state's biggest events and venues - from playing the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show to packing out shows on multiple nights stand at Ft. Worth’s iconic Billy Bob’s, to re-opening North Hollywood’s legendary Palomino Club - and the success goes beyond Texas lines.

After signing to a record label (Big Machine) in the early months of 2016, the group released their EP album in October of the same year; their track "Drinkin' Problem," took off and made its climb up the country charts the following year.

By summer 2017, "Drinkin' Problem" was a genuine hit, reaching number three on the Country Airplay charts on its way to platinum certification. Following the group's EP success, they released On the Rocks, their debut album that September.

Then, in August 2019,  Midland released their second album, Let It Roll, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Country Album charts and 16 on the Top 200.

Fast forward to 2021 -the group released another EP titled The Last Resort, featuring the now-popular single "Sunrise Tells the Story"; the EP posed as a little taste of what was to come from Midland's third album, The Last Resort: Greetings From, which they released earlier this year, in May.
