You may have heard that expression "kill it with fire" right? Well, this guy proves that doing that may not be the best decision.

A Seattle man ended up causing $40,000 in damage to the house and $20,000 to the property inside all because of a spider. Rather than squishing it, or trapping it, or SQUISHING IT, he chose the flamethrower approach.

He took the MacGyver approach and got a lighter and a can of spray paint to battle the eight legged foe. Things got a little out of hand, as you can tell, and the fire started. He and his roommate got out unharmed. As for the spider, it is unknown if he survived. If he did, he has a heck of a tale to tell his spider friends.
