Popular Colorado Pub Makes Plans for Cool Rooftop Patio

With Colorado having so many days of sunshine, but being so darn cold in winter, you don't see many bars having rooftop patios. That's why one bar announces they're installing one, it's big news.

For a lot of Coloradans, there's nothing like heading up to a great rooftop patio/bar. It ranks up there as one the best parts of "adulting," in my opinion. Call it, "an adult's playground area."

One hand, it's very good news for this Colorado city and the bar; on the other, getting a seat up there is going to be rough.

Fans of Loveland, and fans of rooftop patios are both rejoicing with the news of a rooftop patio, the city's first, coming to Downtown in 2025.

Many will say, "What about that rooftop patio bar above Desk Chair in Downtown Loveland? I will  counter that, that rooftop patio is only open on select dates, with a cover charge; it's not bar having its own rooftop patio.

What Downtown Loveland Pub is Getting a Rooftop Patio?

One of Loveland's most popular establishments, Pourhouse Bar & Grill, announced that they have finally gotten permission to install a patio, up on the roof.

This has been a dream of theirs (and ours) for several years, but they've been stalled by those nasty "regulations," like needing a sprinkler system and structural upgrades, but now the permits are completed and the work will begin.

I know that I'm not the only Lovelander who is very excited about this project, which is expected to be completed by June of 2025. I'm going to guess that we'll need a reservation for the first few weeks, if not months.
