Longmont Police Search For Violent and Armed Attempted Carjacking Suspects

Police are searching for 2 men involved in an attempted carjacking early Monday morning in Longmont.

According to the Longmont Times-Call, the bandana-masked men held another man at gunpoint in the Countrywood Inn and RV Park at 1550 N. Main Street just after 3 a.m. They then struck him in the head before attempting to steal his car.

The suspects are described as being 5'8" tall and wore baseball caps and bandanas over their faces. Neither suspect has been identified nor found. Longmont police are currently trying to obtain surveillance video from nearby businesses.

The unnamed victim was treated for injuries on the scene, as he refused to be taken to the hospital.
