It was a big night at the Colorado Broadcasters Association, Awards of Excellence Banquet, on Saturday night in Denver, and your local Townsquare Media Radio Stations were so proud to represent our community in the biggest way.

If you're in Northern Colorado, you've no doubt seen your favorite radio stations out and about in the community. As a locally run radio and digital media company, getting out and making sure we're serving the areas around us is so important.

This past weekend in Denver, we were fortunate enough to be recognized for things we do in our community as well as on our local radio stations, at the Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence.

Townsquare Media of Northern Colorado was collectively nominated for 13 different awards for the night and walked away with 10 Awards of Excellence wins, and 99.9 The Point was named the Major Market Radio Station of the Year for the 2nd year in a row.

Visiting an airport is rarely fun. Hardly anyone reports having an intellectual experience while being funneled through TSA or spending four hours waiting to catch a connection.

Most of the time, a visit to an airport is just that - a visit to the airport. From time to time, though, trouble can arise, a flight gets delayed, Starbucks on Concourse A doesn't serve your coffee at the preferred temperature, or the bathroom runs out of paper towels.
