
Letecia Stauch to be Charged in Escape Plan From Jail
The woman who is accused of killing Gannon Stauch, her 11-year-old stepson, is facing a new charge of planning an escape from the El Paso County Jail.
Stauch has been charged with solicitation to commit escape. The additional charge has been added to the additional charges of murder, child abuse resulting in death, tampering with a deceased human body, and eight charges of crime of violence according to Denver 7.
An inmate informed investigators that Stauch was planning to break out of her cell window with a broom handle. Stauch also attempted to enlist the help of the inmate, writing letters about the escape plans.
Letecia Stacuh was arrested in Gannon's death on March 2. On March 18, Gannon's body was found in Pace, Florida.
