Larimer County Is Offering $20 MMR Vaccinations (Measles, Mumps & Rubella)
There have been two confirmed cases of measles in Denver, so the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is supplying extra MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) to county health departments to help control the spread of measles across the state. (These are our first cases of the measles since 2006.)
The Larimer County Health Department is now offering the vaccine for $20.
Measles can be prevented by the MMR vaccine. This is an important time to check your immunization records to be sure you and your family are up-to-date and protected.
These MMR vaccines are for adults and children who do not have a history of having had measles or two doses of MMR. They are available at the Larimer County Health Department’s immunization clinics in Loveland and Fort Collins and cost just $20 regardless of insurance. (You can also get MMR from your doctor, but check with them on price and availability.)
