Shooting Threat Prompts Extra Security At Johnstown High School
Roosevelt High School parents are on edge today after a letter was sent out telling them about a school shooting threat at the Johnstown school on Tuesday.
Roosevelt High School Principal Dr. Brian Littlefield sent a letter to parents early Tuesday morning letting them know that extra security will be in place.
“Our RHS students have been using social media, texts, and Safe2Tells to discuss their concerns regarding a potential planned school shooting for today, Tuesday, September 24th, 2019. I feel it is important you hear from us again that the RHS administration, staff, and the Johnstown Police Department have been investigating every rumor and have found no validity or truth to these rumors.”
Johnstown police officers will also be on campus to provide even more security. Any parents who have concerns are encouraged to call the school.
