Colorado Mountain College's campuses are located primarily in mountain towns such as Edwards, Leadville, Aspen, Carbondale, Steamboat Springs, and multiple locations in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
The classes at CMC allow students to maintain full-time jobs during the day as many of them are available to take at night. Because of this, it's not just recent high school grads that you'll find attending CMC, but you'll find a lot more students well into their thirties and beyond, all the way up to retirement age.
On that note, many of the instructors at CMC are also retired and are motivated to teach their courses not necessarily for a paycheck, but more so as a fulfilling and enjoyable way to spend their free time.
In addition, for someone who spends each winter skiing at Vail, Aspen, Ski Cooper, or Sunlight Mountain Resort, just to name a few, Colorado Mountain College is the obvious choice for seeking higher education.
