There's a reason that you'll find so many pizza places in Colorado: Millions of Americans love a good "pie." Loveland, Berthoud, and Fort Collins were all included in the 10 best around Loveland, according to Nextdoor.

What Are Nextdoor's 'Fave Awards'?

The Fave Awards are an annual program held in September recognizing businesses loved by locals; they've been happening every year since 2017. I'd not really heard of them, though I may have seen one of the award "stickers" that they give out to winning businesses' profiles.

Who Does Nexdoor Name as the Loveland Area's Best Pizza Location?

In the September of 2026 voting session, it would appear that Loveland's legendary pizza "joint" Justine's Pizza took the Fave Award with 412 votes. Justine's dates back to 1971; Lovelanders have sworn by them for generations.

In all honesty, I bookmarked the page where voting was happening, knowing that voting continued until September 30. When I returned to that page, Justine's did have 412 votes, but I saw that Arte Pizzeria had 541. I'm not sure what the deal is, so I will list them both as #1.

A look at the other pizza locations in the Loveland area that made the Top 10:

  • Ottos Pint: (243 votes). Located off of Oakridge in Fort Collins, Otto Pint is one of four places outside of Loveland to make the Top 10.
  • Blocky's Eatery: (240 votes). It's a shame that Blocky's closed in early September.
  • Berthoud Pizza Company: (178 votes). One of Berthoud Pizza's co-founders, Greg Shope, also owns Shopey's Pizza locations in the area.
  • Mama Roni's Pizza: (158 votes). Mama Roni's was started in 1998 by brothers Mike and Greg Thomas.
  • Cozzola's Pizza: (142 votes). Also in Fort Collins, off of Oakridge, dates back to 1987, when it opened on Linden in Old Town.
  • Blackjack Pizza: (92 votes). The only national chain to make the Top 10.
  • Pizza Street (77 votes). Known for their pizza and their Belly-O sandwiches, Pizza Street has been off of Boise and Eisenhower since 2005.
  • Slice n' Roll (17 votes). Opening in 2022, Slice n' Roll has a great location at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and Fourth Street.
