If you Registered To Vote In Colorado On A Mobile Phone Or Tablet, You Might Not Be

According to KMGH, Secretary of State Scott Gessler is alerting hundreds of Coloradans that they may not actually be registered to vote if they registered using a mobile device or tablet and used GoVoteColorado.com in the past week and a half.

 My office will aggressively reach out to these individuals to ensure that they get registered," Gessler said. "Anyone who registered using the mobile site can confirm their voter registration by visiting VoteColorado.com, contacting their county clerk or calling my office.

Apparently the problem only affected less than 800 first-time voters who registered between Sept. 14- 24 on the GoVoteColorado website. The problem was identified quickly and the website works fine now, even for mobile users. But it might be worth a quick check if you registered via GoVoteColorado.com.

I’d hate for you to find out your vote didn’t count after the election.
