Hundreds of flights flying into Denver International Airport have been cancelled due to weather and intermittent power outages.

UPDATE: Denver International Airport is closed due to weather conditions. According to their Facebook page, no planes are departing or arriving. Outbound Pena Boulevard has reopened to all traffic, but inbound traffic remains blocked at this time. The Pikes Peak shuttle bus is currently not operating.

According to Denver7, at hundreds of flights were completely cancelled Wednesday.

Power briefly went out early Wednesday, too, putting a halt to the trains. Xcel Energy was on the scene to handle those intermittent power outages caused by the spring storm.

DIA crews are preparing for 6 to 12 inches of snow at the airport, along with wind gusts of up to 46 mph.
