How To Make The Fort Collins-Invented Colorado Bulldog Cocktail
Fort Collins is famous for its craft breweries, but did you know that the Choice City also has its own cocktail?
According to Spoon University, Colorado State University might be responsible for the creation of the Colorado Bulldog cocktail, which is supposedly named after the original CSU mascot: Peanuts, the English bulldog.
One second. I'll give you time to process that Cam the Ram did not always represent CSU (I'm still recovering).
Okay, we're back. Here's how to make the White Russian-inspired Colorado Bulldog cocktail, thanks to Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur:
Ingredients
- 1 part Kahlúa
- 1 part vodka
- 1 part cream
- cola
Recipe
- Pour the Kahlúa, vodka, and cream into a shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake it up.
- Pour the mixture into a rocks glass.
- Top off with cola.
Congratulations — you can now officially make this Fort Collins staple. Cheers!
