Colorado is a desirable place to live. There is no doubt about that. So desirable in fact that our state is ranked the second fastest growing state! Some could argue that it is a bad thing as others would be happy to hear about the growth in Colorado.

Right here in Northern Colorado, we have two of the nation's top 10 fastest growing metro areas. Coming in at number 5 was Greeley and Fort Collins including all of Larimer county came in 10th. That means a growth of 8.5% over the past six years.

Loveland's growth rate in the same time frame was even bigger! The city added almost 6,700 new residents and grew 9.9% bringing the population to 74,427.
