The High Park Fire has burned approximately 49,763 acres at the time of this update, and is still reported as 10% contained. More than 1,200 people are working on the fire.  50 National Guard Military Police officers are assisting with road blocks.

Residents in the Poudre Canyon area will be notified of their property status today at the end of the 3:00 p.m. citizen briefing at The Ranch.  This includes the Boyd Gulch/Kings Canyon area.

Evacuations have been lifted for residents in the Shoreline Drive area, as well as residents of the Bellvue area. However, many evacuation and pre-evacuation orders are in effect.  Click here for full evacuation info.

Roads south of CR74E (NOT INCLUDING Cr74E) are still closed to everyone except residents. This includes Hewlett Gulch Road, Deer Meadow Way, and Gordon Creek Lane, as well as any connecting roads in the area.

The fire was caused by lightning.
