Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Joing Christina Aguilera On ‘The Voice’

Season three of 'The Voice' premiers September 10th and we can expect a few surprises, I'm sure. The first of which is that Green Day front man, Billie Joe Armstrong is joining Christina Aguilera's team as a mentor.

According to The Denver Channel,  Armstrong will be one of four new mentors on the show. The others are:

• Rob Thomas - Joining Cee Lo Green
• Mary J. Blige - Joining Adam Levine
• Michael Buble - Joining Blake Shelton

I wonder if 17-year-old Billie Joe would have ever imagined himself taking this job?
