Gourmet Corn Dogs in Fort Collins? Sign Me Up!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love myself a classic American corn dog. However, Fort Collins doesn't have a gourmet dog. Until now.

I was looking at Facebook this week and came across the new Fort Collins food truck known as Corndoggies. Yup...a food truck that specializes in CORN DOGS.

Do I have your mouth watering yet?

I took a look at their menu that they have online, and check out some of the choices that you have when they drive to a location near you:

Jalapeno Chicken Gouda - Applewood smoked, served with raspberry jalapeno jam sauce

Maple Bacon - Sweet breakfast sausage served inside a waffle or pancake with Belgian ale maple syrup

Chorizo - Mexican style with a black bean chipotle sauce

And that's just a sampling of the corn dogs that they'll be starting out with.

Need a side to go along with your dog?

You can have your choice of beet fries, smoked cheddar corn tots, and cornbread. Plus they serve desserts as well!

Taking a look at their Facebook page, they are putting on the finishing touches on their truck and it looks like their "kick off party" will be March 3rd from 6pm - 9pm at Source Endurance Training Center of the Rockies. And they are only going to charge $5 for ALL YOU CAN EAT!

Bet you can guess where I will be that day...during that time.
