According to the Coloradoan; Fort Collins, Larimer and Weld counties are on accident alert this morning.  There is no relief in sight with worse weather and colder temperatures on the way.

What does 'accident alert" mean?

Drivers who are involved in motor vehicle accidents with minor damage that do not involve an injury or suspected alcohol or drug use should exchange names, addresses, telephone numbers, vehicle license-plate numbers and insurance information, according to the release. Each driver then has four days to complete an accident report.

The forecast for today calls for a winter weather advisory with areas of snow and blowing snow.  Accumulations of 2-4 inches and wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour.  Temperatures will continue to drop to the single digits by this afternoon, and well below zero tonight.

I've been flooded so far today with reports of traffic, accidents, and slippery roads.   I have a feeling it's going to be even worse on the way home.  Yikes.

This makes those 60's we had this weekend feel like an eternity ago doesn't it?!
