‘Fresh Prince’ Theme Causes School Shooting Panic

Now this is a story all about how a teens life got all flipped, turned upside down. I understand that things are kind of tense lately but, come on! A Pennsylvanian teen caused a bit of his panic at his school because of his outgoing ringtone.

The school had been trying to contact the 19-year-old to confirm a appointment and he had set the theme song to 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' as his ring-back tone. The ring-back tone is to take place of the normal boring ring and liven it up a little bit when someone calls you.

Anyway, this receptionist calls him and is listening to the funky jam when she misunderstands a lyric. She mistook the lyric "Shootin some b-ball outside of the school" as "Shootin some people outside of the school" and freaked out.

She called 911 thinking that he was going to  "start making trouble in the neighborhood" and the cops arrested the teen a short time after the call. He was released after the outgoing ringtone was explained.
