I'll admit it, product placement like in the movies Billy Maddison or The Beverly Hillbillies got me as a kid when it came to Subway's delicious sub-sandwiches, and I've been hooked ever since. The freshly baked bread, the tasty meats, the fresh crispy veggies, and those addicting triangles of white American cheese slices. I just loved it when my dad would take us to Subway as a kid. The one thing that I've really grown to love over the years is freshly sliced meat, and that was one thing that Subway never had going for them. Until now...

Freshly Sliced Meats Now At Subway Restaurants

Subway has added meat slicers to 20,000 of its restaurants to the tune of about $80 million to provide that freshly sliced deli meat piece that they've been missing. To celebrate the new addition, Subway is giving away roughly one million subs for free this Tuesday, July 11th. How do you get yours?

Be one of the first 50 people in your participating Colorado Subway store between 10 am and 12 pm and ask for your free sub and they'll hook you up while supplies last. One per person and you must be present in the store. You can choose from the following six-inch subs off of their new "Deli Heroes" line-up.

• The Beast
• The Grand Slam
• The Garlic Roast Beef

I tried the Titan Turkey for lunch over the weekend just to see what all of the Subway fuss is about, and it was delicious. That soft Subway bread pilled high with freshly sliced turkey and cheese, it was the best Subway I had in years to be completely honest. I'm stoked about the new changes as it feels like the first time in many years that Subway is back on track. Be one of the first 50 on 7/11 and enjoy the new taste of Subway.
