There are so many items around our homes that require special disposal. Batteries, paint, medicine, light bulbs, automotive items and so many others, need to be considered hazardous waste and properly disposed of, not thrown in the dumpster. There is a special hazardous waste collection event happening in Fort Collins on May 14th and again on September 10th to help you correctly get rid of these items. Over 1100 people participated last year, with over 90,000 pounds of hazardous waste collected.

Upcoming Dates:

Saturday, May 14, 2016 (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)
