As Colorado residents, sometimes we take for granted how amazing our state is.  Then some national recognition from Forbes comes along, and it reminds us how lucky we are!

Forbes released its annual top ten “Best Places for Business and Careers” list Wednesday, the Coloradoan reports.  Denver took the number 6 spot, while Fort Collins earned seventh place.

Fort Collins — more accurately the Fort Collins-Loveland metro area — was highlighted for clean energy and bioscience industries and described as a large college town where the “large college-age population supports the local music circuit and a number of well known microbreweries, which give the city its college-town atmosphere.”

Forbes also ranked Fort Collins as ninth in the nation for education, and 19th in job growth.

It's a good time to be in Colorado!
