Since 2005, Chick-Fil-A celebrated 'Cow Appreciation Day' on July 14.

Its the perfect excuse to dress up like a cow and get a free sandwich. Unfortunately, the chain announced the postponement for this years celebration at all locations.

This year, we have decided to postpone the annual holiday in honor of our beloved bovines.

They continued to say via their website that "this decision with the communities we serve in mind". The chain is keeping Safe Service as their top priority.

But just because Cow Appreciation Day 2020 is postponed doesn’t mean you can't celebrate.

Chick-Fil-A came up with downloadable and printable activities. Click here to see what the chain created to make memories with your herd.

The chain also announced that in the coming months there will be updates on Cow Appreciation Day 2020.
