Ford has announced they are recalling at least 1.4 million vehicles in four separate recalls. The biggest involves popular SUVs that may have steering issues.

KDVR reported, this recall involves 2008-2011 Ford Escapes and Mercury Mariners, and 2011-2013 Ford Explorers.

Reports have shown, that sensors and electrical connections could cause the vehicles to eventually lose power steering, making steering incredibly more difficult and the possibility of an accident. Not all vehicles have the same issue though, Ford said.

Ford is aware of 20 accidents and eight injuries that might be related to the steering problems.
