Fort Collins' annual spring music festival, Fort Collins Music Experiment (FoCoMX), is moving to September due to COVID-19 concerns.

Less than two weeks ago, the event's organizers shared FoCoMX's lineup announcement via online party. However, since then, more restrictions on gatherings, and even outings, have been put into place.

With that, FoCoMX 12 has rescheduled the weekend event, which was originally set for Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, to Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5.  Organizers are 'following the orders and recommendations of the CDC, the State of Colorado and the Larimer County Health Department,' FoCoMX shared on Facebook.

The music festival features over 300 artists spread throughout Downtown Fort Collins at over 30 different venues.

'Our music community is strong, supportive and resilient and we are dedicated to hosting the festival this fall,' the post reads. 'All tickets purchased for April festival dates will be honored for the September festival dates or refunds are available at the point of purchase through May 1, 2020.'
