The latest game fad that swept the world came in the form of 'Flappy Bird,' an infuriating app where you tried to steer a flapping bird between green pipes by tapping your screen. Well, the game's creator has removed it from the app store and play market because the game was 'ruining lives'.

Yup, according to the Denver Channel, even though the game had been downloaded more than 50 million times, was the number one download for almost a month, and was pulling in close to $50,000 a day in ad revenue, its creator has pulled it from app stores.

Flappy Birds creator Dong Nguyen announced he was taking the game down this past weekend via twitter, saying, "I can't take it anymore." (You can see his tweet below.)

Sure enough, Flappy Bird is no longer available on the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Anyone that already downloaded the game will still be able to play it, but no one else can download it, nor will there be any updates for it.

Twitter and Facebook, maybe the game was ruining lives. Settle down people...
