Five Trailers to Make You Excited to Go to the Movies [VIDEOS]

Being the movie-lover that I am, I'm usually caught up on all the latest trailers.  Sadly, today I realized that I have fallen way behind.  I just watched a ton of cool trailers all at once, and I thought I'd share a few highlights!

To kick things off, it's the official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, the third (and final) Batman movie being directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale.  Can't wait for this one.

Next, because movies based on toys seemed to work out pretty well for Transformers, the Hasbro toy company is giving us a movie based on the classic board game, Battleship.  From the latest trailer, it actually doesn't look terrible.  It's even got Liam Neeson!

If you're a classic rock fan, then you should love this next one.  The hit broadway musical Rock of Ages is being made into a movie, featuring music from Def Leppard, Journey, Poison, and Twisted Sister, among others.

If you're a fan of Sam Worthington and/or Greek mythology, then you probably saw the Clash of the Titans remake last Summer.  Well now we get a sequel!  Check out the trailer.  I love the music choice for this one.  And the movie looks pretty good, too!

Lastly, and perhaps most interestingly, director Bryan Singer is re-telling a classic storybook tale...with loads of action and special effects!  Check out the trailer for Jack the Giant Killer (and yes, it's exactly what you think it is)!
