Family Cat Summoned for Jury Duty

Snafus in the legal system are nothing new, but this story seems a little over the top. A house cat was called for jury duty in Boston, and when its owner filed for disqualification of service her request was denied!

Guy and Anna Esposito own the cat named "Sal". Now they say that if they can’t clear up the mess before the court date they’ll just have to bring the cat in to court. This is going to be a waste of time and money for everyone involved, and will probably lead to some serious embarrassment somewhere along the line.

Hooray for bureaucrats!
