Evans police have arrested a young man for sexual assault and exploitation of minors after a 2-month-long investigation.

Evans resident Zachary Myers, 22, was arrested following an investigation that was initiated on March 6 after a report of an inappropriate sexual relationship that took place between Myers and a juvenile female. Through investigation, police found he had allegedly exploited multiple young females across the country through various chat rooms, social media platforms, and smart phone apps, the Evans Police Department said in a news release on their Facebook page.

Myers is in custody and has been charged formally in several jurisdictions to include Weld County and Denver County Courts.
