Drunk Horseback Rider Leads Police On 30-Minute Chase

Do you know anyone that has been convicted of DHR? Yeah, me neither.

But, apparently,  you can be busted for drunken hose riding in Florida.

According to FoxNews a 29 year old man was arrested after he led police on a half-hour chase through town, while intoxicated and riding a horse.

Officers responded to a report of an “intoxicated male riding a horse” and found [him] riding over railroad tracks. He told officers he was headed to his grandmother’s house and ignored orders to get off the horse. He took off and police chased him for more than a half-hour.

The chase ended when the horse got tired and the man jumped off and tried to flee police on foot. Not surprisingly, his drunken sprint from the cops didn’t last too long. He is now in jail and faces charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence and cruelty to animals.

I'm going to guess his grandma was very disappointed in him when she heard the news.
