Flipping that calendar to March means a lot of things; St. Patrick's Day, the NCAA Tournament, Daylight Saving, the first day of spring, spring break, getting your hands on a Shamrock Shake, and the return of Downtown Fort Collins Great Plates!

What is Great Plates? It s way for you to experience the "authenticity, quality and diversity found only in Downtown Fort Collins." 30+ restaurants offer $25 dinner  specials and a select few offer $2.50 breakfast specials. It's the perfect (and inexpensive) excuse for you to go try out all the downtown restaurants you've always wondered about.

Thirty (30) downtown restaurants will offer amazing evening dining specials for a full two weeks! Each restaurant will be offering their own unique dinner specials for $25.00 to show off their specialties and favorite ingredients. It could be dinner for four or it could be a gourmet treat for one. Attendees will be able to enjoy this culinary celebration while experiencing the beautiful historic area of Downtown Fort Collins and supporting the Food Bank for Larimer County.

For the first time, great plates will also include some breakfast/lunch specials this year from 'Snooze an AM eatery', Mugs Coffee and 'The Silver Grill Café'.

If you love food, you'll probably be eating out, a lot, over the next two weeks. I always try to make it to at least of few of these specials every year, I think it's one of the best dining out best traditions in Northern Colorado.

Great Plates runs today (March 1st) through March 14th at participating downtown Fort Collins restaurants.
