Bo's human made an appointment on May 7, 2021, for Bo to get his regular bath. When the appointment time came, there was no answer at the door.

We were alerted to Bo and his need for a new home by Michele at Aussie & Friends Mobile Dog Grooming,

Bo's owner, an older gentleman, had made an 8 a.m. appointment with the company for his dog Bo to get a bath. The dog's owner had made it a point to confirm Bo's appointment, as he needed a bath and he likes Michelle so much.

When Michelle arrived, though she could hear the TV on and Bo barking around, the dog's owner wasn't coming to the door. Michelle (correctly as it turns out) feared the worst, and began trying to find a way into the apartment, located off of Boardwalk and Harmony in Fort Collins.

At 10:00 a.m. she and a member of the maintenance team were able to gain access to the apartment where they found Bo's owner on the couch, and discovered that he had sadly passed away.

Bo was very excited to see Michelle when they entered the apartment, as they have a history; it was good to see a friendly face.

It's very fortunate that Michelle was concerned about her client(s) and went the extra yard to ascertain what was going on, as it could have been several days before anyone else were to become concerned, and Bo may not have survived the wait.

Bo was taken to the Larimer Humane Society for evaluation.  Michelle stopped by the Humane Society the next day to visit Bo, her furry client. She has even offered to groom Bo for free when he's adopted.

Bo is a 6-year-old German Sheppard, who after evaluation, would be best in a one-dog home; he will be available for adoption soon.
