Larimer County deputies forced a fleeing vehicle off the roadway and into a ditch on Thursday.

Authorities then took 42-year-old driver Quinn Anthony McDonald into custody on 10 outstanding warrants. More charges are expected to be filed from the pursuit that led into Weld County, according to a Larimer County press release.

Potential additional charges include felony vehicular eluding, driving under revocation, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and other traffic violations.

The incident began around 9 a.m. on Thursday morning when deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle reported near the Love’s Travel Stop located at 3800 E. Highway 56 in Berthoud. When authorities arrived, McDonald was in the driver's seat and began to drive away.

Despite emergency sirens flashing, McDonald continued onto Interstate 25 north. He continued the pursuit, exiting I-25 in Johnstown and going through a red traffic light at Highway 60 and I-25. A Precision Immobilization Technique was later used to get McDonald into the ditch.
