A Denver group is advertising in Florida urging residents to move to Colorado because of the great outdoors, "protected grass" and human rights.

Good Business Colorado is a grassroots organization in Denver placing ads for Colorado in Florida newspapers and other publications with a message "Move to Colorado, more than just our grass is protected. Your job is, too."

The Denver based website talks about how Colorado has double the breweries of Florida, more mountains and trails and a much better record with LGBTQ life. As a matter of fact, they point out that Florida doesn't currently have any protections for LGBTQ people.

Colorado has one of the healthiest economies in the country and Good Business Colorado is looking for more opportunities to bring people to the state.

Good Business Colorado Executive Director Debra Brown said this to the Orlando Sentinel:

A key reason for Colorado’s success is its strong workplace protections for LGBTQ employers and employees. That makes it easy to recruit and retain the diverse workforce that fosters an economy that is competitive in the global marketplace.
