Coming off a bizarre (to say the least) 2020 NFL season and a 5-11 record, the Denver Broncos, led by new GM George Paton, are poised to strike back in 2021.

It's NEVER too early to start thinking about football season for me, even if the Super Bowl was only a week ago. As for the Broncos, sure, there need to be some changes made and those will come, but for now we can focus on WHO the team will be playing.

The full schedule with dates and times is usually released in April around NFL Draft time. As usual, the Broncos will be facing the same familiar foes within the division (Chiefs, Chargers and Raiders twice with one game each in the other's home stadium).

The NFL's formula for scheduling requires a degree in "understanding complicating things" but it's basically like this... Each team plays the four teams from another division within its conference on a rotating three-year cycle (4 games), the four teams from a division in the other conference on a rotating four-year cycle (4 games) and two games against conference opponents based on the prior year's standings (2 games).

According to the Broncos, in addition to their traditional division battles, they will be facing these teams...

HOME: Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Bengals, Eagles, Ravens, Washington Football Team, NY Jets

AWAY: Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Browns, Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, Jaguars

Go Broncos.
