So this video has been getting a lot of attention and getting a lot of heat. To start things out, this is fake. FAKE- meaning he is not really hitting his son. A lot of people on youtube can't seem to tell the difference so I am just making that clear.

Now, I can understand why some people may get a bit upset about this because at first it does appear that he is punching the kid. But when really watch it you can see it is nothing more than some really good acting. Being a drama geek I can appreciate a fake punch and this kid is fantastic about acting like he got hit! If you are wondering where the sound of the punch is coming from, the mom is behind the camera making the sounds.

I asked a few people here at the station what they thought about it and one, who is a parent, said, "I know its fake but why post it to youtube? I mean, good for him for spending time with his kids, but still why post this when you know that it is going to get people mad?"

Another person I showed thought it was real after the first punch then realized that it was fake and had the same reaction as to why post it?

I think that he posted it to 1. Show his son that he is on the internet. 2. He knew it was going to get a reaction from the internet.

Most of the comments on the video know it is fake but when it was first posted there was a huge backlash against the father calling it child abuse.

What are your thoughts? I think this kid is very talented and has a great future in acting.
