Undergraduate students at Colorado State University are facing yet another tuition hike. Every one of the in-state students will end up paying an extra $1,051 in tuition totaling over $6,000 per year. Out of state students will have to fork out over $22,000 per year.

This is all according to the Coloradoan. As bad as it may seem for students in Fort Collins, they can at least be happy that CSU is still cheaper than other schools in the state.

CSU's tuition remains low compared to its peers across the country and in Colorado. Even with the increases, CSU will cost in-state residents about $1,300 less than CU-Boulder and about $5,200 less than the Colorado School of Mines.

I'm eight years out of school and I thought CSU was expensive back then, these numbers now are getting ridiculous. All I can say is that I'm glad I don't have to do the math on a student loan right now.  Ouch.
